The SCENTSY that warms my place

Last year, we spent our new year in San Diego with our relatives, the de Guzman's. As we entered their house, a distinct sweet smell welcomed us. Thought it was just a regular scent. But when we went up to the restroom, we saw this so-called lamp with liquid on it. Then we learned from our cousin, Ate Mayette, that this is the Scentsy Warmer.

Scentsy Warmer works with a lamp and candle wax (called Scentsy bar). Come to think of it, before, we only had air freshener. Then came the oil burner (which uses candle to spread the smell). And now, a better product came, the use of a lamp- safer than a candle-- and a scented candle wax which comes in like hundreds of scents.

Was super excited about the Scentsy Warmer that me and my sister immediately bought our own set. I got a full size Hugs and Kisses Scentsy Warmer

and 9 Scentsy bars with the following scents to last me for 1 year, I hope. Flirtatious, Honey Pear Cider, Lilacs and Violets, Cucumber and Lime, Simply Irrestible and Pomegranate Ice.

Love the scents...love my room...love to sleep more...

"Vego" is the way to go

My friend Romyr invited us about 2 weeks ago to this new place called Vego. At first, parang di exciting kasi vegetables davah. Knowing me, I super love meat. Pero kebs, we still went and tried it out. It was sooo good and I'm sure vegetarians out there will go crazy in this new place.

What made it more interesting is that they used different places as names for their menu. What I tried then was Australia -- its a sandwich on bagel with grilled veggies and goat cheese. Ang sarap!! Note that the bagel is freshly made! Below is the onion and pepper bagel.

Another great thing about this new place is that they deliver for free!! woohoo!! This will change my lunch habits then. :)

Welcome 2010

I really don't know what's up with me but I just felt like I needed to blog...and now, here it is...my blog back from the grave...can't even remember my password that I had to reset it.

2009 seemed like a bliss but it was a great year..blessings, challenges, heartache, new friends and lots of adventures. And now, let me list down what the first month of 2010 had brought me:

1. Got my new Nikon D3000 SLR which motivates me to learn more about photography...so far, I'm
kinda loving it :)2. Bought new movies (new for me since haven't watched them) that were shown in cinemas last year. Yes, I'm so way way behind. So I got these:

3. On the 4th weekend (first weekend to really rest), i cooked adobo and menudo

4. Toured Phnom
Penh and Siem Reap with the 98s

5. Reunited with my 2 REP soul sisters

6. Checked out Studio 182-- new high end club in PP located above Topaz restaurant

7. Dinner with a former jackson
material...ang ganda ko, yung lang

So that was just a month and I felt like it was already a blast! Tomorrow is the start of another month, love month that's what they say...so is love just around the corner? We'll see.
